Darlene House is the owner/chief communications specialist for House of Communications. This past president of Detroit Women Writers and Women in Communications of Detroit is an award-winning advertising copywriter, editor, journalist, columnist and public relations practitioner.

Her articles and columns appeared regularly in academic, mainstream and target market newspapers and magazines throughout the Metropolitan Detroit area, Southeastern Michigan region and on the international scene. She wrote and edited several books that were critically-acclaimed with sales exceeding expectations plus successfully assisted authors with promotions.

Both individually and as part of teams, House provided marketing strategic planning and promotional services for nonprofits. In addition, her background also includes planning and promoting acclaimed special events plus service as a university visiting lecturer, corporate coach/trainer and market research expert. She recently successfully launched a voice over career resulting in her projects being posted on popular web sites heard around the globe.
